The art and culture provide spaces where people can disagree and still be together…. At its best, art is an exercise in democracy; it trains our critical capacities for perceiving and interpreting the world and yet art does not tell us what to do or feel, but rather empowers us to find out for ourselves” – Olafur Eliasson Semi-circular elements mounted on a mirror to complete the reflection of a virtual ring that traverse the boundary between actual and reflected space.

 

Colour experiment, no. 78 – 2015

A large grid of circular paintings of subtly progressing hues that reveal the entire spectrum of colors visible to the human eye. Experimenting with the light bulb in the center of the room turned on and off.

 

Space resonates regardless of our presence series – 2017

Concentric bands of delicately modulated light and shadow, cast on the walls of a darken room. The optical instrument employs a section from a glass lens originally designed for use in a lighthouse.
